Negotiations Survey

Please go to https://leadernet.aft.org/webform/negotiations-survey-spring-2016 and fill out the negotiations survey, if you haven't already done so.

This information helps us to prepare our positions and interests for negotiations, and it is also good data to share with the District. It helps us to have a strong position if ALL OF OUR MEMBERS take the survey.

Opt-out

This is letter from NYSUT that was discussed at the Orange County Teachers’ Association regarding the opt-out movement. The WTA supports NYSUT position.

Dear NYSUT Member,

Organizing in Your Community

Bob Beglinger Reports -- WCOA Meetings

Bob Beglinger is one of our representatives for the Wisconsin Coalition of Annuitants (WCOA).  The WCOA usually meets monthly in Madison.  Read Bob's report to find out what the Legislature has been up to regarding our pension system and learn about an opportunity to be on a focus group for ETF about their communications.

Patients Before Profits

Patients before profits—our members know what these words mean better than anyone. We’ve seen corporations buy hospitals and then raise prices, cut staff and reduce essential services.

The Federal Trade Commission reviews these types of corporate deals to make sure patients don’t lose out in the process.

MEMBERS, SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS!

Help your union.

Answer a brief survey.

And, if you provide contact information at the end, you'll be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift card to Powell's Bookstore!
